 OVERVIEW
(from Goodreads)
Now we can decide to look for the signs that all is not right. Save what we have, appreciate and love what we have, and enjoy life to the fullest. It cannot be done unless we identify with our truth, observe clearly, feel this reality and connect within. Most of us are caught in the trap of our ego self and the state of our world tells us that. How often do you feel anxious, worried or concerned? Angry and upset with others, have feelings of discontentment, feelings of being unfulfilled and unappreciated? When does your mind not just stop and for an instant in time, do nothing, think no thought and truly rest in solitude and silence, so that those negative feelings can be felt, observed, acknowledged, understood, accepted and then released? Resting your mind in nothingness is to rest your body. And a body which is well rested finds its path to passion, to live with energy and vitality. A mind of no-thought is a mind living consciously in the present moment. But how can anyone ask you to do this? You have never lived apart from thought, and now you are asked to go against the very thing that holds your make believe world together?

REVIEW
The author, Gregory Nicholas Malouf  has written six volumes of the series THE THOUGHTLESS SERIES along with SILENT: The Power of Silence. Some of us may have some real questions about the way we look at the world.  Some are fine at what they see and the was things are.  Others are not.  The book SILENT was written as a way of  helping to improve mental health of readers who are tired and wonder if this is all there is to life.? The author speaks of our inner Self, being as we were when we were born.  That is before the evil, uncaring, hurtful people become a part of that child.  When born,  they are innocent.  SO, SO, INNOCENT!  Supposedly by applying the listings in the book, you can gain the power to create everything you want and supposedly deserve. Maybe the inner Self is love with no fear but how long does that last?  After life gets hold of you and you are beaten down or you beat yourself down.  We often expect too much from ourselves. Sometimes to the point of, "Why am I doing this?"

The author, Mr. Malouf shares the discovery journey of his own inner Self and it wasn't an easy one. Mr. Malouf genuinely offers guidance and offers experiments to try.

'Perceive all people as good and use only kind words to speak about them.
Pass no judgment for one entire day and see what happens.'

His books are written for each of us to be better and is that happens the world will follow. I feel that this is a book that is Mr. Malouf's journey of his life which is why he is the man he is today.I feel you have to heal inside, the hurt and the pain that has built up over years and years.  I don't believe that a person's pain and hurt can always be healed.  I don't believe I need a book to tell me the obstacles in my life that are keeping me from easing some of the pain.  I don't believe you can create everything you deserve and desire.  It's a wonderful thought and a wonderful story, but a bit unrealistic.

Mr. Malouf wrote a good book, if you have the belief that all can be well. It's a good read if you go into it with an open mind and open heart.    It's just my own personal opinion that it is a dream. A beautiful dream, but a  dream.  Life is not an easy one, at time it is harsh, cruel, unforgiving and evil. Not all the time but those things still exist.  As Mr. Malouf says in his book that "You can't change the past but we have the power to shape the future."  That is so true.  I don't think it's always in our hands to do that.

SO  I would recommend you read THE THOUGHTLESS SERIES and Silent:The Power of Silence and draw your own conclusions.  Everyone has their own opinion.

I would give this book 3 SQUARES.

I was given a complimentary copy of SILENT from the author, Gregory Nicholas Malouf for my personal review.  No other compensation took place.

AUTHOR

Gregory Nicholas MaloufGregory Nicholas Malouf, founder of Epsilon Healing Academy, a successful Australian businessman and entrepreneur, had a traumatic childhood. He became a workaholic in order to run away from his past and allow himself to live the "perfect life," or so he thought. Throwing lavish parties, and flying all over the world. Despite running numerous businesses, all of which were successful --and even leading motivational and meditation retreats and programs for his teams-- Greg knew deep down that he was still looking at things from the outside in, rather than from the inside out. It wasn't until the hollowness of his existence caused his world to fall apart that Greg ultimately found his road to wellness and healing.

At the age of fifty, Greg realized for the first time that his priorities were misguided, that he was living a lie. Anxiety and obsessive control disorder were just two of many addictions he suffered in his life. Why? Because he had not yet been able to confront the truth of his past. Thanks to a genuine intent to experience true abundance in his life, Greg did face his past and discover the truth that had previously limited his life. Greg was an insatiable reader, studied neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Transcendental Meditation with Thom Knoles, an internationally respected thought leader and celebrated speaker. He additionally underwent rehabilitation, intensive individual therapy and group therapy, and attended the 12 step meetings to seek a wholesome and differing approach to healing. Subsequently, in 2009, Greg founded Epsilon Healing Academy, and has since been working with thousands of people throughout the world, as a natural expression of his commitment to share the lessons he himself learned on how to liberate the mind and body, live in the present with gratitude, consciously create life on one's own terms and experience the abundance one deserves.

Greg has made it his mission to better the world through his passion of helping people explore their anxiety, challenge their fears, and reach their full potential. Today, through books like Silent, Shallow Love, and Tunnel Vision, programs like the University of Self, and other valuable tools, Greg and his incredible Epsilon Healing Academy team help people to live lives that in every way reflect who they are and what they most deeply desire.

Gregory lives in Sydney with his children and travels abroad to share his message of healing.
