OVERVIEW
(from Goodreads)
Graduate student Lily Andrews resigned herself to a life of perpetual virginity. With her recent twisted appetites and weird fugues hospitalizing every would-be boyfriend, it's no wonder she uses her coursework as an excuse not to date.
Then, she meets a witch.
Joshua enters Lily's life to complete penance for a deadly spell cast centuries ago. Joshua must counter Lily's demon-wrought fugues with his own Wiccan magick, or lose her forever.
As the pivotal Wiccan holiday, Samhain, approaches, time is running out. Together, they must battle an ancient dark force, fighting for their lives and their new-found love...ANY WITCH WAY they can.

REVIEW
The first thing that catches your attention is the cover. It's mysterious and definitely a might "witchy". The book was just long enough to keep you hooked and yet not lose your attention. You find yourself turning the pages and somehow you can't get enough. You become so wrapped up in the characters that they become real to you and you find yourself actually intrigued by them. Joshua was very sexy. I found that the romance was not overdone but just enough. Joshua and Lily had to fight the dark force. They had to fight for their lives. They fought for the new love they had found in each other. They fought for survival any witch way they could. It appears the author did quite a bit of research into the Wiccan practices and ways. This added some reality to the story. It was as though Joshua was an actual witch and was doing penance for a deadly spell cast long ago. You will find the "Five Fold Kiss" in the book. The "Five Fold Kiss" is part of Wiccan ritual. It is kissing five parts of the body. Each kiss has a blessing that goes with it.
Blessed be thy feet, that have brought thee in these ways
Blessed by thy knees that shall kneel at the sacred altar
Blessed by thy (womb/phallus) without which we would not be
Blessed be thy breasts, formed in (beauty/strength)
Blessed be thy lips, that shall utter the Sacred Names.
Quote from book:
"You think you cast a spell on me? Like, saved me with your magic wand?" Lily crossed her arms. "You don't seriously expect me to believe that?"
If you like stories about witches, spells, and the "witchiness" that goes with them, you'll love ANY WITCH WAY by Dylan Newton.
I would give this book 4 Brooms.

Lily has a huge problem with her libido.....she tends to black out into violent episodes should hers ever arise. Because of this she has given up on all things related to the male persuasion....until Joshua comes into her life.
Joshua is a special kind of witch that is hell bent on showing Lily that she is a weirdo~just cursed. And he is the key to helping her break that curse.
I was a fan of Newton's book Despite the Ghosts and was just as pleased with Any Witch Way. I was very excited to read that she held was able to keep the truth in the craft while introducing Lily to it with a real world way of how some people take to the craft.
Avery well written novella and quick read. Lily is a real likable character yet Joshua seems to be stuck in time. There were moments when his dialogue came across old fashioned for me even for the storyline.
Because the story was good and had a few twists and it was a new type of take on the cursed damsel I gave it a
