The angel explains to the little girl how important every person is in the universe, how every action causes a reaction, the importance of visualization, and many other magical things. The story teaches kids that they are never alone, since their guardian angels are always looking out after them, and that children have the power to change their world through their thoughts and actions. First-time author Anabelle Valenzuela grew up all over the world, including Europe, the United States and her native Honduras. For the past 18 years, she has lived in Miami with her family. She has worked in the communications field for the last 20 years. REVIEW

 THE DAY AN ANGEL RAN INTO MY ROOM is a warm and easy to read story.  It teaches love and  growing spiritually.  The author did this in a very simple way so that little ones understand that no matter what they have a Guardian Angel with them at all times.They are never alone. Alessandra's guardian Angel was Angelisse. The book help to show children that the world can be changed through acts of kindness and positive thinking.  In this book, a little six year old encounters an angel. From that encounter she realizes she has her own magical world. This is such a sweet book for children to discover angels and how to visualize things.  On night Alessandra didn't want to go to bed.  She begged for just five more minutes.  It was then that Angelisse appeared.  Angelisse didn't look like an angel but more like a child.  The author wrote that in such a way that Alessandra could understand and feel like she could be friends with Angelisse.  Angelisse taught Alessandra many things.  One important thing being that all people are important.  The book teaches that every child has the power to change their world and that is through the way they act and how they think.  All you have to do is believe. Ms. Valenzuela-Alarcon wrote such a beautiful, charming little teaching book. The wording is easy for little ones to understand and the illustrations by Sarah Latham were just so cute.  I think this would be a wonderful little book to add to every child's library.  It is one that should be read and re-read.

First-time author Anabelle Valenzuela-Alarcon grew up all over the world, including Europe, the United States and her  native Honduras. For the past 19 years, she has lived in Miami with her family. She has worked in the communications field for the past 20 years. She was inspired to write this book by her children and spiritual teachers such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson.  Her hobbies include writing, reading, going to the movies and international traveling. She has been a student of metaphysics and spirituality for more than 20 years. This is her first book.
