When Felicity steps off the train on the way to meet her husband, she is so sure of everything in her life. Where she is headed, what she will order at the restaurant, the first words her husband will say to her when she arrives, their happy future together. But then she catches a scent of perfume in the air, and suddenly she is overcome by forgotten emotions-passionate memories of another man she loved many years ago. As the feelings continue to surface again and again, Felicity begins to question the life she thought she knew so well. She doesn't doubt that she loves her husband, but does she owe it to herself to explore these overwhelming emotions that have taken hold of her? Or is her mind simply playing tricks on her heart? How can she know where love truly lies? And when she finds out, will it be too late? Julie Cohen's Where Love Lies is a novel that will capture both your heart and mind.

Julie Cohen grew up in Maine and studied English at Brown University and Cambridge University. She then moved to the United Kingdom permanently, where she taught English before becoming a writer. Her books have won or been shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists' Association's Award, the Nations Readers' Choice Award, the Love Stories Awards' Best Romantic Read, and the HOLT Medallion. She now writes full time and teaches creative writing. She lives with her husband and son in Berkshire, England, where she is teased daily about her American accent..  She is also the author of Dear Thing. Visit her online at AUTHOR SITE.

The author gives the reader a way to forget the everyday stress by becoming totally involved in reading this book.  Once you start, you are held tightly.   As you turn the pages you will think you know what is going to happen but the pages turn with twists.  You may have a concept of what you believe love is, but the author may change that.  You may finish this book with a different outlook on love.   The author gives you characters you can really like and somehow he touches upon your heart.  The author gets you to thinking, what if?   What if, you remembered someone you loved many years ago.? What if you had another chance at that love.?  Would you take it and if you did, would it be too late?     The author makes the reader think about your own life and when you are turning those pages you find that you can relate so much, so very much.  Very well written with developed characters.   I think a book is so much better when you can relate to the characters and relate you can and will.  The author gives you the question, am I satisfied with what I have and where I am or do I owe it to myself to look deeper?  Once you open this book you won't close it until you are finished.  Even then you will keep thinking about it.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, Julie Cohen and Night Owl Reviews in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.

I would give this book 4  STARS.
