REVIEW
In this wonderful book about Italy, there is a globe to show where Italy is and there is also a large shape of what Italy looks like. Ms. Roman takes the reader to the Capital of Italy which is Rome. Here we see amazing architecture which goes back in history. Ms. Roman introduces the reader to the history of the Coliseum and Olympic Stadium. She shows foods that are liked in Italy along with games and sports they play. The reader also gets a look at the holidays and different traditions. This is a wonderful little book to add to the collection. It teaches little ones and us older ones about the different countries. The book is the right size for little ones to hold on to and the pictures are colorful to hold their attention. Not only are they learning books but they're fun also. It allows children to see how other children from different countries live. A nice addition to the book is at the end there is a guide to the pronunciation to some of the words that are in the book. Don't forget to add this to your collection of the different countries that Ms. Roman writes about. Your child will learn and have fun at the same time.
She also included a postcard of different flags from around the world.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, Carole P. Roman for my unbiased review.
I would give this book 5 SOLID STARS.
