 NO GETTING OVER A COWBOY
A Wranglers Creek Novel
Book Two
by
Delores Fossen
The golden cowboy of Wrangler's Creek returns home to Texas to discover some old flames never fizzle…  There are plenty of things Garrett Granger hadn't counted on losing—his child to miscarriage, his wife to another man and the family business thanks to a crooked CFO. He also hadn't counted on moving back to the family ranch, where he's met by another surprise—former flame Nicky Marlow, who is renting his grandmother's old house.  Nicky's been rebuilding her shattered life since her husband's death two years ago. But Garrett's timely arrival in Wrangler's Creek doesn't automatically make him the missing piece of the puzzle. Even if he does seem to adore her two-year-old daughter… Even if seeing him again stirs up old feelings Nicky would gladly keep buried, forcing her to wonder if moving forward has to mean leaving everything behind…  (from Night Owl Reviews)

MY THOUGHTS
A page turner mixed with humor and romance. There's nothing like a good love story when you have a handsome hunk of a cowboy in the mix.  When Garrett Granger lost his wife and child, he decided to go home to Wrangler's Creek to the family ranch.  His days of being the golden boy haven't been so good the last three years.  The only place he felt better was out on the ranch. But things aren't as they were when he had left.  His great grandfather's house was smack dab in the middle of the ranch land.  No problem, except it had been leased to a woman that was using it as a place for widows.   When he goes to face this woman and get rid of her, he's floored.  He knows her, Nicky Henderson.  He knew her well back in the day, right in the very same house.   The author gives you Garrett who at times you want to shake the daylights out of him and at other times you love him.  Coming face to face with Garrett isn't exactly what Nicky wanted or needed.  She had not only herself to think of but her daughter Kaylee. Then the author throws you for a loop. A skeleton is found in the house.  This meant the women had to leave and go elsewhere. Where would they go?   We're given an angel in Garrett's mother. She takes them in.   She has a loving heart and is trying her match making skills on Garrett and Nicky.   I loved the way they avoided each other as much as they could but eventually love catches up.  Did the time away from each other change the desire and the way they felt for each other? Feelings that they both thought they had forgotten came alive with a vengeance.  But as always, there are secrets that are hidden, things you don't want to come out in the open and the author gives the reader just that.  Secrets, hidden for a long time and they're about to surface.  Grab this book and turn those pages as you get to walk alongside a sexy cowboy and a romance that may make you catch your breath.  Some of the characters are the ones you met in previous books and some are new but the characters are ones you will fall in love with and won't forget even as the last page is turned.

I received a copy of this book from the author and Night Owl Reviews and voluntarily decided to review it.

I would give this book 4. 5 STARS.
