Michael Phillip CashMichael Phillip Cash is an award winning and best selling author of horror, paranormal, and science fiction novels.  STILLWELL: A Haunting on Long Island , THE HANGING TREE, and SCHISM: The Battle for Derracia have all been named to Foreword Reviews Book of the Year Awards.  Cash currently resides on Long Island with his wife and children.Born and raised on Long Island, Michael has always had a fascination with horror writing and found footage films. He wanted t incorporate both with his debut novel. Brood X. He has a degree in English and an MBA, he has worked various jobs before settling into being a full time author.

I have read Mr. Cash's books and he never disappoints.  I believe out of all the books I've read of his,  this goes to the top.   House flipping is what the young couple in the story do.   This is how they make a living to survive.  Everything seemed to be going good in the house flipping part of their lives, that is, until they get a too good to be true house.  When they are in the house, they get the feeling that they are not the only ones there.  They' re soon to discover that they have other occupants in the house.  This is after they decided to stay in the house while they were getting it ready.  They soon discover what is living in their house with them,  Spirits, a man and a woman.  They' re not human, nor are they of flesh and blood.  This was their home and they weren't giving it up.  A bad situation begins, when one of the Spirits sets her sights on the husband. The ghost keeps embarrassing the husband by feeling him. The other Spirit has it's sights on the wife. The ghosts aren't mean just mischievous. There are also sentinels in the house. They are a different kind of ghost.  The female ghost fears them. This is where the story actually starts.  For me it was a fun read, exciting, scary and just a plain creepy read.  I liked the way the author meshed the living and the dead.   I guarantee you won't want to set this book down.  It's a keeper to put on the bookshelf to read again and again.  The twisted ending will amaze you.
I didn't find the book to be one of those book that has blood and gore.  It's just a good interesting rad of the paranormal.

I was given a complimentary copy of THE FLIP from Michael Phillip Cash for my view of the book.  No other compensation took place.

I would give this book 5 STARS.
