REVIEW
This is another one of Mr. ElFakir books that is a charming while a teaching children's book.
This book is about a little skunk who is coming of age.  He tries to be a good little skunk and plays with his friends.  The first time Pepper, the skunk shows off his spray  in front of everyone.,his friends know that Pepper's spray is different from the other skunks.  They have to decide to embarrass him now or him being embarrassed in front of all the other skunks. They waited too long.  Pepper found out.  Unfortunately, everyone else finds out too that Pepper's spray smells like flowers.  So cute,  a skunk's spray smelling like flowers, like that would be a problem.  Of course, we know skunk's spray doesn't smell like flowers.  It wasn't so much the smell but that he was different.  He wasn't like the other skunks. What the other little skunks don't understand is that being different is alright.  There's nothing wrong with being yourself.
Disaster strikes and the little skunks learn a very good lesson when they are in trouble and on Pepper's "STINKY FUMES" although not so stinky can help them. The author wrote an invaluable lesson learning children's book.  It's all about being yourself.  Learning that it's O.K. to be different.  True we are different, but that's what makes us an individual person who is himself.   Nothing wrong with being yourself. This is an invaluable book for children to have on their shelf to read and re-read to remind them that it's O.K. to be different, it's O.K. to be yourself.  That's what makes you, YOU!

I would recommend this book to everyone, grandparents, parents, baby sitters, teachers and anyone who has children that they want to read an goo lesson learning, fun and interesting book.  It also has some wonderful illustrations to go with it.  So get a copy for your young ones and read to them or let them read it.  Every so often, take the book out and read again.  Emphasize that its' O.K. to be YOU!

I received a complimentary copy of STINKY FUMES from the author, Mahamad Ali ElFakir and OutSkirtsPress for my view of the book.  No other compensation took place.

I would give this book 5 SWEET SMELLING FLOWERS.
