REVIEW
# 1 Romance
A historical romance, two stories about love and possibly a third.  Intriguing!  Miss Anna Marsh,
an intelligent woman who is strong and knows herself.  She only wants to be loved because she is who she is. She has always loved a very good friend of hers but he doesn't appear to be the right man for her.  She wants him to love her back, but for what she is.  This is a love story about a man, Sebastian who, after a long period of time, has learned to accept Anna for who she is. He has always, or thought he loved her, but it took time for them both to be happy with each other.

#2 Romance
Not quite what I was expecting.  It was O.K. but I had hopes it was a little more like the first. I felt it needed more, but that may have been from the first romance and the character and setting details.
Still good.

# 3 Romance
There was a hint of a love between the servants but the author didn't really go into much detail about it.

I found there was a lot going besides romance.  In-law problems, mourning, thievery and spying. I didn't quite understand why the French spying was in the book, but perhaps it will reveal itself in another read.  Women were characterized as rather helpless and not having much of a role in life. I suppose in that era, that is how women were supposed to be like.  I just didn't care for it.  Anna Marsh simply wasn't like that.

I found the book to be well written, erotic at times and even  a little bit of humor added.  I felt there was so much going on that it was hard to keep up with everything.  I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a lot going on at once.  It was a bit too much for me.  A good book that perhaps a sequel will tie it all together.  Now, if you want to find out exactly what Miss Anna Marsh's secret life was,  pick up a copy and read.

I would rate this book at 3 QUESTION MARKS. (for the question  of what her secret life was)

I received a complimentary copy of THE SECRET LIFE OF MISS ANNA MARSH by Ella Quinn from Kensington Publishing Company for my honest opinion.  No other compensation was received.
