Is the Grass Really Greener?

Published by C. Michelle Ramsey(first published August 19th 2013)

Five women, five lives, five secrets. Each woman is battling her own personal demons, and hiding a secret from her friends and family.

Each of them envying one another's life, wishing her life was different, wishing she had what the other woman had. But what happens when what appears to be real, is all a façade? Battling breast cancer, single parenthood, infidelity, the loss of a child, and managing the single life, can become overwhelming for these ladies.

Not satisfied with their lives, looking for something better, they contemplate alternative choices to improve their lives; crossing over to the other side of the fence is a very real possibility. They can't see beyond the choices they make, but they must be held accountable for them.

And after they have crossed the fence, they realize two things simultaneously. Yes, the grass was greener on the other side; and their grass could have been just as green, had they taken care of it.

This book is about five friends. They are all going through something just like all of us..  They don't always tell each other the truth about what is going on with them. If they only realized the love and support they are missing out on. Their lives are not really what they seem to be.  Each one starts to want to be the other because of what they have or who they are.  We never seem satisfied.  But what happens when what we think we want isn't what it appears?  It's all a show? These five ladies are facing breast cancer, infidelity, single parenthood, loss of a child.  Trying to manage a single life can become over whelming. None of them are satisfied with their own lives, looking and wanting something better. They even think of an alternative choice, crossing to the other side. They aren't looking at the choices they make and how they will affect others.  Every decision we make has a consequence that we must face. Will they cross that line? Will they realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side? Or will they realize the grass was always green, just needed some tending.? I want to thank Ms. Ramsey for writing this book.  It contains some vital lessons.  We need to take care of what we have or we may lose it.  Sometimes the grass is not always greener.

I would recommend this book to everyone.  It might just make you realize what you have. You might look at life a little different.  I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book, but I',m so glad I did.

I would give this book 4 STARS.

I was given a complimentary e-book of IS THE GRASS REALLY GREENER? by the author, C. Michelle Ramsey for this unbiased review.

Thank you for featuring my novel, Is The Grass Really Greener? on your blog.

I am glad that you chose to read it, and enjoyed it. My novels usually feature real life drama and situations, people experience daily; however, I like to show that people can rise above their limitations.

Once again thank you. :)
