 OVERVIEW (from Amazon)
When crime scene cleaner Charles 'Yey' Reyes helps a detective friend solve a Roanoke homicide, he shuns the praise. He quickly changes his mind when his friend is killed while on duty. But this time, his offer to help is rejected by the police captain. Meanwhile, homegrown celebrity Sydney Estes buys a house near town. As the citizens swoon, Yey notices a link between Sydney and a flurry of homicides. Harangued by the captain, local media, and Sydney's fans, Yey struggles to connect clues which will prove his theories.

Reyes has a rather different job.  He cleans up after crimes scenes. Don't get the wrong idea by the title.  This book is a great read, entertaining and interesting.  It's about a man who has the strange ability to put two and two together and come up with four.  Apparently highly trained individuals can't do. He helps solve a crime and receives praise for it, but tries not to acknowledge it.  But when his buddy  is killed on duty, he changes his mind and wants to help.  The offer was rejected by the captain. All he is trying to do is find who killed his friend. The author has a number of novels. He's a seasoned writer and has shown that in the book. In this particular one he gave each character their own distinctive personality . I found that I could keep track of the characters better that way.  Sometimes when you read a book and there are several characters, one or more will get lost somewhere in the story. The story kept you turning the page to find out what was next.  I would recommend this murder mystery to anyone that loves the "who dun it" books.  I hope we may get to see this book become a series.  Have to wait and see.

I would give this book 4 STARS.
