DEEP CONNECTIONS by Rebecca Graf

DEEP CONNECTIONS            4 STARS
Book One
by Rebecca Graf
Editor:  Lisa Binion
Illustrator:  Deidre Carr

OVERVIEW: (FROM GOODREADS)
Just as love appears, so does the darkness. With her heart reaching out for one man, Brenna finds herself the target of an unknown stalker. Who is he? What does he want? How far will he go for her? Death is an option. Brenna discovers more than she bargained for and learns that the stalker will kill for her. It all comes down to decisions, and no matter what she chooses it will demand sacrifice and someone's blood

REVIEW:
In the town of whitewater, a new resident, Brenna, high school English teacher, is starting to make friends with some of the people who live there.  There are two men craving her attention. Then we have a strange person who is obsessed and stalks her.   What kind of evil is lurking in Whitewater?

The author keeps you on your toes with this romantic suspense thriller that has a little paranormal added in.  The author writes in the third person. You are filled with lots of questions.  The story keeps you intrigued with mystery, secrets, romance, suspense and evil.  The book reads at a pretty good pace. The author, Ms. Graf did a wonderful job with very graphic descriptions and lots of details.

The author has put in a interesting lot of characters that makes you feel they are real and have real problems just like we do.  You get so into the book that you can't let go.  The only thing is, it may cause you to stop and look around you and the hairs on your arms may stand up.  This is not for the readers who get creeped out easy.  Above all this isn't a book for that stormy, midnight read. The author does a great job at weaving romance between three people and the evil mystery that comes with it.  You'll find the evil in the stalker, Creeper, and his relentless desire for Brenna is un-nerving.
I wanted more when I finished the book. Thank goodness there is Book 2 in the series, DARK CONNECTIONS. (see cover below)  If you love that creepiness and a little romance, this is definitely for you.  You might want top turn the lights on though.

I would give this book 4 STARS.

I received a complimentary copy of DEEP CONNECTIONS from the author Rebecca Graf for this unbiased review.
