Daughter of Jerusalem-a novel of Mary Magdalene

At the time of Christ, the spoken language is Aramaid. The characters in this book are supposed to be speaking Aramaic. The book is a modern English translation of the language.

Mary's one true love was Jesus.
Part One: Mary's first love at 14
Part Two: Mary meets Marcus
Part Three:Mary encounters Jesus

I enjoyed the quick identification with Mary Magdalene. The novel was very inspiring to me. It could be inspiring for another person to get back on track with God. I feel it was definitely a page turner. You just had to know what was ahead.

The author has combined many Mary's into this Mary Magdalena. There are a few things that bothered me. It was said that Mary was wealthy but if she ended up being ostricized, did she still have these means of wealth? Maybe if the name of Mary was changed, those little things wouldn't be noticed. The cover of the book was simply magnificent, eye catching. The one eye looking straight at you. The colors used were right on the spot.

The Book was well written, very descriptive and a page turner. I'd rate it a 5 stars.
